Previously, Dan served as a lawyer and Chief Digital Officer at Selmer, one of Norway’s largest and most respected corporate law firms. During his tenure, he spearheaded Selmer’s digital transformation, implementing strategic technologies that significantly improved client engagement and service delivery. His legal expertise at Selmer included IT contracts, technology licensing, and data protection, while his leadership of cross-functional teams ensured the seamless integration of legal and technical solutions. Additionally, Dan played a pivotal role in developing a national e-voting solution as a project leader for a Norwegian ministry, showcasing his ability to manage complex technology projects within highly regulated environments.

Beyond the legal sector, Dan’s entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in his co-founding of an e-commerce venture that included the creation of a SaaS solution for the Nordic market. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of building and scaling technology solutions that address real-world business needs. Dan holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Master’s in Computer Science (Cand. Scient.) from the University of Oslo. He also studied entrepreneurship at BI Norwegian Business School, Cornell University, and the Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship.
