He is an active member of the International Bar Association’s Presidential Task Force on the Impact of AI on the Legal Profession and serves on the Law Firm Management Committee.

In addition to his extensive legal industry experience, Martijn has a strong foundation in strategy and change management across diverse sectors, including financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, and aviation. His work spans national and international levels, where he has contributed to high-impact strategy and business transformation initiatives within leading organizations. Martijn began his career as a Banking & Finance lawyer in Amsterdam and London before moving into strategy consulting with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) following his MBA. He later served as Managing Director of Van Doorne, a top independent Dutch law firm, where he was instrumental in strategic development. At Intertrust (now CSC), a global administrative and corporate services provider, he was Global Head of Client Solutions, shaping commercial strategy as part of the senior leadership team.
