Saga Solo Referral Programme - Terms and conditions

Last updated: 30. October 2026

These terms and conditions apply to business subscriptions under the Saga Solo Referral Programme (the “Programme ” and the relevant terms, the “Programme Terms”). The Programme supplements the relevant customer’s service agreement and its appendices, including the Saga General Terms & Conditions (the “GTCs”), available at https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/690742fa08528d6710738920/6ae4894d7802d837536b078e_Saga%20General%20Terms%20and%20Conditions%2020261029.pdf (Version 20261029) (together, the “Agreement”). The Programme forms an integral part of the Agreement and must be read in conjunction therewith.  The Programme supplements the customer’s Agreement. In the event of a conflict, the Programme prevails solely in relation to the eligibility requirements, promotional discount, free trial, referral rewards and resulting changes to subscription term and renewal dates expressly provided for in the Programme. In all other respects, the Agreement continues to apply. Nothing in the Programme excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

‍

Saga means the relevant Saga entity stated on your Agreement. Your supplier owes your referral rewards; the referred firm’s supplier provides its trial, subscription and discount, even if it is a different Saga entity. A referrer is an eligible existing customer; a referred firm is an eligible firm signing up with its code. Each accepts these rules for its own participation.

‍

‍

Important note

Referrers must ensure that their participation in the Programme, including the receipt of any reward, complies with all professional conduct, independence, confidentiality and other regulatory obligations applicable to their legal practice. Referrers must not use confidential client information or their professional position in a manner that breaches those obligations. Where accepting a referral reward would be prohibited by applicable professional rules, the referrer must not participate in the reward arrangement.

‍

Programme period

The Programme starts on 4 November 2026. Referred firms must start their trial with an accepted code by the end of 31 December 2026, Europe/Oslo time.

‍

Saga may extend, change or close the Programme prospectively, announcing changes on this page and notifying participating referrers in advance where reasonably practicable. Unused codes expire at closure. Changes do not affect accepted discounts, trials already started or rewards earned. A timely trial can qualify for a reward even if payment occurs after closure.

‍

Eligibility and codes

Referrers must have a Saga Solo 12-month subscription and have paid their first annual invoice. Trial customers and customers on 3-month plans are ineligible. The referrer’s eligible subscription must remain in force when Saga receives the referred firm’s payment, including during any earned extension. Giving notice not to renew does not prevent participation.

‍

Each referrer firm receives 12 single-use codes for this Programme, not per user, account, renewal or Saga entity. Each referred firm may use one code and receive the discount once. A code is used when accepted at signup; cancellation during the trial does not restore it or earn a reward. A rejected code is not used.

A referred firm must:

  • subscribe for its legal practice, be established in Norway, the Netherlands, Turkey, Italy or Germany, and choose Saga Solo for 1–5 users on a 12-month plan;
  • not be a current Saga customer or in a Saga trial; former customers qualify once their previous subscription has ended; and
  • apply a valid code at signup.

A firm means the subscribing entity, partnership or sole practitioner, not a user, branch or additional account. Self-referrals and referrals within the same group or under common controlling ownership are excluded. Control means ownership of more than 50% of voting interests or an equivalent right to direct the practice.

‍

Referred firm’s trial and discount

The referred firm registers a card at signup, with no subscription charge, and receives a 14-day free trial. Checkout and the signup confirmation state the exact trial deadline, cancellation method, paid starting date, annual charge, currency, applicable taxes and renewal arrangements.

‍

The referred firm must expressly accept the Agreement and authorise the applicable subscription payment arrangement during checkout. Subject to that acceptance and authorisation, unless the referred firm cancels before the stated trial deadline, its 12-month paid Initial Term begins immediately after the 14-day free trial, and Saga charges the discounted first annual subscription fee using the authorised payment method. Failure or delay in collecting payment does not change the contractual start date of the paid Initial Term, subject to the Agreement and applicable law.

‍

The first annual subscription invoice receives a one-off discount of 8.333% (about one twelfth) of its subscription fee, covering all users on that invoice. It is calculated before taxes. It does not apply to separate charges, later invoices, additions or upgrades.

‍

The referred firm may cancel before the trial deadline through the checkout-identified method or by emailing support@sagalegal.io. No 60-day notice applies during the trial. Timely cancellation prevents the paid term and subscription charge; an erroneous charge will be refunded.

After the paid term starts, convenience cancellation does not entitle the firm to a refund or credit, and remaining term fees stay payable under GTC clause 10.5. Reductions and downgrades follow GTC clause 7.6. This does not restrict remedies for Saga’s breach, billing errors, or any termination, fee-reduction, refund or withdrawal right under the Agreement or mandatory law.

‍

Referrer’s reward

Each qualifying referred firm’s successful payment in full of its discounted first annual invoice earns the referrer one extra calendar month, capped at 12 extra months per referrer firm for this Programme. Failed payment attempts do not qualify.

‍

A referral reward is subject to the eligibility requirements in these Programme Terms. Once earned, a reward will not be withdrawn merely because the referred firm subsequently terminates its subscription, obtains a lawful refund or raises a payment dispute. Saga may refuse or reverse a reward only in accordance with the provisions on fraud or material misuse below.

‍

For each qualifying referral, Saga will extend the end date of the referrer’s then-current subscription term by one calendar month, without charging an additional subscription fee for the scope and number of users covered by the subscription immediately before the extension. Additional users, upgrades and other separately chargeable services remain subject to the Agreement.

‍

Each additional month will be calculated consecutively from the end date as previously extended. Where the corresponding calendar date does not exist in the applicable month, the last day of that month will apply.

‍

The revised end date will be used for calculating the applicable non-renewal notice deadline and any renewal-related price notice periods under the Agreement. A valid non-renewal notice already given remains effective and does not need to be submitted again. An extension does not, by itself, revoke a non-renewal notice or trigger a new renewal. Any subsequent renewal term remains subject to the renewal provisions of the Agreement.

Rewards are subscription time only: non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or credit. A lawful refund or payment dispute does not, by itself, reverse an earned reward.

‍

Sharing and misuse

Referrers may share their referral codes only in compliance with applicable advertising, electronic marketing, data protection and professional conduct laws. A referral code must not be sent through an unsolicited marketing email, text message, direct message or similar electronic communication unless the communication is lawful under the rules applicable to the sender and recipient, including any required prior consent.

‍

Referrers must clearly disclose, when recommending Saga Solo using a referral code, that they may receive an additional month of Saga Solo subscription if the referred firm subscribes and pays.

Referrers must not use paid advertising, coupon or voucher websites, unsolicited bulk communications, misleading statements or confidential client information to promote referral codes. Referrers must not provide Saga with third-party contact details without an appropriate lawful basis and all applicable notices.

Saga may temporarily suspend affected codes or withhold rewards on documented grounds of suspected fraud or material misuse. Permanent refusal or reversal requires a substantiated finding, an explanation and a reasonable opportunity to respond; measures must be proportionate and limited to affected referrals. An innocent, eligible referred firm keeps its accepted discount. This creates no additional right to charge a card or suspend a paid subscription.

Billing records are evidence, not conclusive. Customers may provide contrary evidence and request correction through support@sagalegal.io.
