Earlier this month, our Chief Market & Engagement Officer Remco Visser had the chance to chat with Unleashed to talk about Saga. Today, Saga is trusted by more than 150 law firms worldwide to support their day-to-day legal work with AI. During the conversation, Remco explained how Saga helps law firms and legal teams thoughtfully integrate AI into their daily workflows, with a strong focus on training, adoption, and understanding where AI truly adds value.
He demonstrated how Saga can draft and review legal documents, by automatically recognising drafting intent, asking smart follow-up questions, and using added context to improve accuracy. Remco also highlighted Saga’s prompt improver, which helps users create stronger prompts by suggesting variables and storing proven prompts in a shared library.
The discussion covered a wide range of use cases, from drafting and redlining agreements to litigation support, legal research, and document review, showing how Saga can be used even by those without a legal background. Remco also explained different assistant roles, like devil’s advocate or contract assistant, designed to challenge thinking and strengthen legal strategies.
Addressing concerns around AI hallucinations, Remco shared how Saga relies on citations and reasoning models to ensure accuracy and transparency. He outlined Saga’s implementation approach, which typically starts with small pilot groups and hands-on training focused on real workflows and use cases.
On average, Saga saves firms four to five hours per week while raising the quality and consistency of legal work, particularly for junior team members. Remco concluded by highlighting Saga’s grid review feature, which turns complex documents into clear, structured insights for faster and more accurate reviews.
