The Latvian Bar Association (Latvijas Zvērinātu advokātu kolēģija) is the professional body for sworn advocates in Latvia. Beyond regulating entry to the profession, it upholds the professional standards, ethics, and rule of law that clients, courts, and the public rely on when they place their trust in a Latvian advocate. Today we are glad to announce that Saga is partnering with the Association to bring our legal AI platform to its members.
Legal work is changing quickly, and the question for most advocates is no longer whether AI will play a role in their practice, but how to adopt it in a way that fits the standards of the profession. For a bar association, that question carries extra weight. Members need tools that are useful, but they also need confidence that the tools they choose are built for legal work, with the care, confidentiality, and accuracy it demands.
That is the thinking behind this partnership. By working with the Association, we want to make it easier for Latvian advocates, from sole practitioners to members of larger firms, to try a purpose-built legal AI platform on terms that make sense for them.
Saga supports the everyday work of a modern legal practice. Members can use the platform to review documents and contracts, run legal research, analyze cases, produce translations, and handle many of the other time-consuming tasks that sit between a client's question and a finished piece of advice. Rather than replacing professional judgment, the aim is to give advocates more time for it, by taking on the first pass of reading, comparing, summarizing, and drafting so that their attention goes where it matters most.
A tool only helps if it fits into the working day. That is why Saga is available on the web, in Microsoft Word, and in Outlook. For most lawyers, Word and Outlook are where the work happens, and the platform is designed to meet them there.
As part of the partnership, members of the Latvian Bar Association receive 20% off Saga. The offer is available through the member offer page on the Association's website, where members can find the details and get started. Sole practitioners, or members from larger firms that want to try Saga, can sign up directly, and larger teams can request a demo to learn more.
We see this partnership as a meaningful step in bringing legal AI to Latvia's advocates in a way that respects the profession's standards.
